THE ART OF CAPTURING YOUR FEELINGS & EMOTIONS THROUGH PHOTOGRAPHY

Pho - short for photography & Toi is the maori work for art.

In this book, I’ll guide you through practical techniques for combining mindfulness, photography, and creativity to help you tap into your inner self and find a sense of peace and calm. Together, we'll explore ways to break free from autopilot mode and connect with your true self so that you can live a more fulfilling life.

You are curious about this book for a reason… You may be feeling stressed, overwhelmed, distracted, or stuck on autopilot and unsure how to get back in touch with you. In this book, I’ll guide you through practical techniques for combining mindfulness, photography, and creativity to help you tap into your inner self and find a sense of peace and calm.  Together, we'll explore ways to break free from autopilot mode and connect with your true self so that you can live a more fulfilling life. Learning to sit in silence with your thoughts and find meaning in images can bring peace and consciousness to your life.

Dealing with more minor issues as they arise can prevent overthinking and stop problems from growing. Instead of dwelling on them, this book will teach you some simple ways to address the problems as they surface, so you can keep moving forward. As trauma or issues can sit dormant in our bodies, it can be helpful to step outside of your comfort zone and explore self-healing.

Talking about your challenges with others is great, but sometimes oversharing your situation can create unnecessary gossip and judgement. Learning to cope better and create solutions for yourself can help you become more aware of your changing emotions. It gets you thinking, reflecting, and problem-solving and creates an instant or stand in solution to a problem without procrastinating.

NDIS Pho-toi™ sessions & mentoring 

Taking 'EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST' for August 2023

For plan-managed and self-managed participants.

Pho-toi™ is a creative way to acknowledge your emotions and feelings by photographing a ‘representation’ or ‘comparison’ of how you feel – either in nature or of your surroundings.

Pho-toi™ helps you to be more aware of how you are feeling on the inside, by expressing this on the outside through the camera lens.  The aim is to help you solve issues yourself, reduces over-thinking, reduce stress & anxiety and be more aware of when your emotions are changing.

Lessons can be online through Zoom or face-to-face if the participant lives in the Noosa area, Qld. 


In regards to NDIS codes - there are a few different categories available, but it would be advised to talk to your Plan Manager first to see if you have the funding available and it is correctly charged.  I can be of help to guide you so please contact me for further information.

Each Pho-toi™ session goes for 
60 minutes.  Photos can be taken on a smartphone or a digital camera.  There will be very limited spaces available due to other work commitments at this stage and it is suitable from age 6 years of age to adults.  A great way to re-wire your brain and create positive changes to your daily routine.
