What is there to do in Noosa when it rains? This was the most asked question when I worked for a Babysitting Agency in Resorts.
My answer would be .... create Art with your children - it can be rare that you are all in the same place at the same time. Be hands-on with the kids, put your phone away and remember how it felt to be a child again.
Squishing play-doh through your fingers - inhaling the smell, and enjoying the soft touch. Pressing leaves into the dough to create patterns and cutting them out with a cutlery knife on a baking tray, making them into fruit shapes, aaaaahhh brings back good memories!
On a rainy day you could also play cards, board games, read books to each other, draw pictures of the fun you have had so far on your holiday, watch a family movie cuddled up on the couch, play hide the object in the apartment. There are so many fun things you could do that cost so little, and those are the memories our children will cherish the most.
So next time you go on holiday .... pack a few rainy day activities!!!
I guarantee you will enjoy it as much as they do :)
